MY KINDA STRESSFUL DAY

 first i lost my bus card
 then i was worried bout missing the bus (but i met the irish girl there, shes so sweet)
then it was just a wierd day at school (i dont know what normal is at this school)
then i went to eat lunch with jen but couldn't find the dang bus (later found out it was right across from my school and i didn't need to go to republique to take it!!!)
by then i was in such a rush when i got there i started eating really fast and was completely on edge!
 but it was nice to talk to jen and we got a treat ( which i later stressed about cause im in that kind of mood today)! 
then on the way home i took the right bus in the WRONG DIRECTION!!! 
so i was worried i'd be home later then they'd expected and that they'd be worried but it turned out fine!


 and instead of crying, which is what i kind wanted to do, i went running and that really helped alot! i took a shower, played on the piano, and then ate a yummy diner! so it actually was a good day! :)




so yeah, it was one of those roller coaster days!


its funny, this morning when i was trying to cheer myself up, i started singing Confidence from The Sound of Music without noticing at first!
then, on the way home when i was in a bad mood, i started singing It Sucks To Be Me! hahaha 
I love it when there's a song that goes well with whats going on in life!

This is a practice blog from my iPod. I wanted to basically see if I could still do things like type, add photos, and stuff :)

So yeah this is a photo of our paris trip and I'll talk more about it later!

I guess it didn't work dang it!!!!
Oh well, I guess I just won't have pivoted up anymore.

Okay! BIG CHANGES ARE ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE!!!!

So basically my family is kinda out of a job right now and therefore the French Adventure is being cut short for them. Note that I said "them". Not "us".

That's right, I'm actually have the wonderful opportunity to stay here in France!
 I'll actually being staying the Chevé family in my ward here in Rennes. They are really lovely, sweet, happy, and - here's a shocker- really french! 

This is going to really help me in learning this language (and since I ain't the brightest crayon in the box, I'm gonna need all the help I can get)!


So, just one more week and my entire family will be bye-bye! 
Let me just take the time to say: AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! 
I've never really been super independent before (taking the bus and metro to school was already a really big deal for me) and now here I am, preparing to stay in a on the other side of the pond!


I am SUPER DUPER excited!!!
but also ridiculously scared out OF MY MIND!!! 


Oh my Oh my. . .

I really want to take a moment to just say: 
I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!! THEY"RE THE BEST IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! 

Just a quickly little update blog about something and someone important!

My dad! I love him a whole bunches and honey bunches of oats! He's the one that made it possible for my family to go on all our crazy adventure like this one. And he's the dreamer that's always influenced me!

Recently, this morning in fact, my dad has had to return to the United States due to work issues. So know the rest of us are here, while he's there, and the Atlantic Ocean certainly don't feel like no pond anymore! I miss him already and know it will be hard to go the next couple months without him!
I thank him though, for this wonderful opportunity to learn French and certainly hope that I don't let him down. I know that, thanks to my daddy, I am always becoming a better person and learning a lot!

the advices (i'll try taking it to heart more quickly)
your love
your happiness
and just for being my dad!

Being Sick . . .

It's pretty much just as un-fun being sick here as it was back in America! I HATE being sick! I had to miss church and therefor missed my only chance this weekend to hear/learn any French!
Grrr and a half! I HATE BEING SICK!!!
Bleh! :P

Well, besides the sudden illness, life here has been going well! This week I actually spoke a wee little bit of french in one of my classes (embarrassing)! It was pretty ridiculous! My teacher asked me to make a drawing of America on the board and to show where Arizona was. . . looking back I realized that I totally drew Arizona in the wrong place! Haha ^^' good thing none of them seemed to notice!

I really ought to start studying French more! I keep saying I'm trying (and I am. . .kinda) but i could definitely try a bajillion times harder!!! Thinking about these types of things while being sick isn't smartest idea though. . . it just makes me feel hopeless and sad! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

It's A Brand New Year!

I for one am super excited for 2011! Not that 2010 wasn't great, because it certainly was, but I'm excited for the freshness of this new year! This past year a lot of things have changed  in my life and within myself! I've come to learn a lot about not France and the French language but also about the person I am and the person I'd like to be. I feel like I've just started to make some great improvements and, as 2011 progresses, I would like to continue to do the same.

Here is a list of my New Years Resolutions (though some of them might change):
1.) Loose 20 lbs (an unoriginal resolution, i know, but certainly a needed one)
2.) Go Running (also needed)
3.) Become More Disciplined (i know it's kinda general sounding)
4.) Practice Piano (i have no excuse not to now that mom's bought the books)
5.) Read The Entire Harry Potter Series IN FRENCH (i hear you scoffing now, but i will be victorious)
6.) Learn French (well. . DUHHH )
7.) Finish Personal Progress Book!
8.) Continue to make more Vlog and Blog post! (regularly if possible)
9.)  Be More Outgoing and Willing to Mess-up! (i know, i know. . .another general one)
10.) HAVE THE BEST YEAR YET!!!! :D

Yeah, so I'm totally excited to see how this year goes! It's amazing to realize how much can change in just one year! For example, by this time next year I will be a Senior at Corona Del Sol High School back in America!!!! Well, Happy New Years everyone! I wish you all well!
